The structural core and advanced shell for B2B
The synthesis of corporate research is embodied in the SteelConchiglia® product, an exclusive RevoSteel Building® product that offers an integrated solution, alternative to other more traditional construction systems (particularly wood and reinforced concrete and similar).
It is a well-known fact that reinforced concrete over time suffers from infiltration and moisture, which cause carbonation and corrosion of the reinforcements, with structural degradation and high maintenance costs. Wood is vulnerable to insects, fungi, molds, and deformations due to moisture. CFS, on the other hand, thanks to galvanization is immune to these phenomena: it does not rot, is not attackable by biological agents, is lightweight, seismic-resistant, durable, and almost maintenance-free.
The SteelConchiglia® is the evolution of the so-called "advanced shell", with high-quality characteristics and performance. The SteelConchiglia® allows traditional companies to build the building at the advanced shell in less time and with a more effective result in both operational and economic terms. In fact, the SteelConchiglia® is a technological cell that the company and professionals can use as a basis for defining the architectural, plant design project and all the specifications concerning the customizations requested by customers.
The advantages of choosing SteelConchiglia®
The CFS used for the construction of the structures is entirely produced in our plant and certified pursuant to European standard EN 1090-1-2-4 and, in the case of our design, pursuant to EN 1993-1-3. Revosteel is ISO 9001 certified.
SteelConchiglia® was developed by a team composed of structural engineers and experts in thermotechnics and acoustics.
It consists of the structural core in CFS (Cold Formed Steel) completed by the stratigraphies best suited to meet the needs of living comfort.
The result is a wall made up of the structural core and an envelope made up of materials focused on maximum performance.
The flexibility and robustness of SteelConchiglia® allows, once the envelope is finished, to complete the house with different materials and finishes, both internal and external. SteelConchiglia® allows easy access to the technological and consumption advantages of an NZEB house, as defined by the current Italian legislation.
With SteelConchiglia® RevoSteel is constantly committed to researching materials for the development of stratigraphies suitable to meet the needs of the project, in order to provide envelopes with increasingly optimized performance on the climatic characteristics of the territory and on the possibilities, including economic, of customers.
Our buildings, regardless of the "degree of finish" chosen (Steelconchilglia® Core / Standard Advanced Shell / Techno Advanced Shell / Turnkey), are conceived around the envelope, declined in the different models of SteelConchiglia®, capable of combining the advantages of the structural mesh in CFS (including the lower weight transmitted to the foundation and the better response in case of seismic event), to the materials that make up the different stratigraphies.
The levels of finish and economic convenience of SteelConchiglia®
The SteelConchiglia® offer from RevoSteel Building® is structured according to 4 "degrees of definition", which can be chosen based on the needs of the order:
01 Steelconchiglia® Core
It represents the structural basis of the construction system: the high seismic performance CFS steel structure, completed with bracing, internal insulation and thermal insulation integrated into the structural section. Included are the protective sheet on the roof and the essential first waterproofing, as well as the design and executive drawings of the structure.
With this degree, the building is configured as a solid and safe "technical shell", ready to accommodate subsequent work.
02 Steelconchiglia® Advanced Shell
It provides for the completion of the SteelConchiglia® package (which includes perimeter walls and roof), including all insulation layers and first finish towards the outside, completed (on request) with external fixtures, so that the building under construction reaches a stage such as to be completely preserved from atmospheric agents and that internal work can continue in a "protected" environment. Internally, the load-bearing walls and intermediate floors are included, provided at the structural core level. Therefore, the following are excluded from this level of finish: the counter-walls and internal walls, along with the completion of the stratigraphies of the first walking surface and intermediate floors (floors, screeds, false ceilings, etc. are excluded).
03 Steelconchiglia® Tecno Advanced Shell
It provides for the completion of the selected SteelConchiglia® package, including all insulation layers and first finish towards the outside, along with all systems. Upon completion of the system implementation, all internal counter-walls and partition walls are also included.
Similarly in the floors, providing for system implementation, these are completed with all layers up to the realization of the false ceilings downwards and screeds upwards. Therefore, only finishes are excluded (such as, for example, skimming, painting, coatings and flooring). For the systems, these are proposed with a hot water production system both in heat pump; the punctual VMC and the photovoltaic system are included, excluding the related storage system.
Energy and acoustic certifications required by law are also included.
04 Steelconchiglia® Turnkey
It provides for the completion of the selected SteelConchiglia® package, completed up to internal and external finishes, including sanitary ware, taps and bathroom radiators, in the solutions proposed by our specifications, offered in the versions: Balanced, Elegant and Exclusive, based on the tastes and needs of our customers.
